The microbrew industry is pushing for the repeal of the alcohol limit on beer. Woot!

In other news, Hell has frozen.

Our real estate agent (who just sold our rental house in Garner, yay!) has his own blog now and he has some good posts about the local market and real estate in general. He also offers up this post on 66 ways to save money. Some really good ideas!

Some of you may know that I grew up a big time Red Sox fan. I grew up in frustration with the Yankees fans in the area always rubbing it in when they won and we didn’t.

So, with that understanding, I have to tip my hat to the Yankees team members who applauded when the Red Sox players raised a banner today and received their World Series Championship rings. It would have been a normal gesture except that the Red Sox did something that no team had ever done in coming back from 3 games to nill to knock off the Yankess and go to the World Series.

I’ve just gained a lot of respect for the Yankees pinstripes. They showed a lot of class today in what is probably a uncomfortable environment. I know it’s only a game but these players have a lot of pride just like any of us would. Cheers to the Yankees!

My sister-in-law Gail has promised to send me more of her prose to share with my three readers. So, she left me this short one the other day.

I admire cats

They are not weighed down
by generalities.

With all the hysteria over the Google Autolink and how they’re evil, I thought I’d show them some love by saying thanks for the extra gig of storage space for my gmail account! That’s awesome!
