Why, amongst European peoples, do people in the southern areas have more body hair than people in the northern climates. Seems it would be opposite, right?

So, the other night JT and I break out a little NCAA 2006 action and play an upcoming ACC matchup between FSU and Boston College. I was BC and JT picked up the Noles. Here’s a little breakdown…
1st quarter – After a few costly turnovers, Florida State is able to capitalize and go quickly on top 14-0. BC’s vaunted defense couldn’t stop FSU and their “God” at QB.
2nd quarter – BC’s offense finally comes alive and gets a couple of TDs but FSU keeps it rolling getting two more TDs of their own to take the lead into half 28-14
3rd quarter – FSU seemed to pick up where they left off by marching right down the field on the first drive. However, after a couple of questionable play calls, they were only able to get a field goal. FSU 31- BC 14. Things did not look good for BC but they were able to manage another Touchdown and keep FSU from scoring the rest of the quarter. FSU 31 – BC 21
4th quarter – BC’s defense finally comes alive and prevents FSU from scoring in the 4th. They also forced a couple of turnovers which helped out their offense. BC was able to punch it a couple of more times and hold off FSU’s last minute heroics for a 35 – 31 win in Chestnut Hill.
This could be a good indication of the whacky season that I think the ACC will be this year. With no outright frontrunner, any team could step up and take the title. I like to some of the good defensive teams to be the ones with a chance: Miami, BC, Va Tech. There are a couple of others like State and FSU that if they solve a couple of their issues they could be contenders also.
I’m getting excited about this season!

Ok, I’ve been hanging out with the JT.net family a little bit lately, more on that story in the future, and his daughter has been into this show called Hi 5. It’s cool, in a kid way I guess, but he’s played for me several times a song called Robot Number One. It’s now in my freakin’ head and I’m having a hard time getting it out.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I got to get someone else stuck with the song before it will leave my head so check out the lyrics and a shortsnippet of the song of their website. You won’t be disappointed! Well, maybe you will…
