Yep, that’s me slack…

Anyway, I hope everyone is well. I miss you!

For an update, I went skydiving a few weeks back. It was a really intense experience and I can’t really give many details because I don’t really remember that much. I remember stepping out of the plane and then the chute going open. Well, a little more than that but it goes by really quick.

What I was really trying to accomplish was to conquer a fear. I know it seems a weird way to do it but what better way to get started than to step out of a perfectly fine plane at 14000 feet? At one time, I said I would never do it but lately I’ve had a huge urge to try skydiving.

Ya see, fear is good but it seems to get in the way of your life. It tends to prevent us from doing things that would make us grow, give us pleasure or teach us a valueable lesson. By learning to deal with our fears on a very basic level, maybe we can get a handle on those fears and learn to harness them so we know when to act. We don’t always want to go against that instinct. It’s served us well for millions of years but maybe we can learn to apply it better.

So as a start, I jumped out of a plane. And, I’d do it again…
