Well, I’m about to take my last walkthrough of my home…it’s a pretty tough thing to leave this home. There were a lot of good and bad times in this place in just three and half years. It’s crazy the way time just creeps up on you.
I’m gonna miss this place…more later.

well, today is move day. I’ve already cleared out a bunch of stuff so I’m looking pretty good.
I’m just waiting on the truck to get here. Hopefully they won’t be too long….

First off, people are freakin’ vultures…ok, that being said my yard sale on Saturday went really well. My sister-in-law Gail came up from Huntersville on Friday night and helped me out this weekend. I got rid of a lot of crap at the sale and then Gail marched me through the house and told me to make a choice on all my crap…We filled up her Explorer seven times and hauled all that stuff off to the dump. I got rid of so much stuff. It was exhausting yet worth it.
I move to my apartment on Wednesday and if you’ve yet to see it, you can’t check out pics of my new condo, that I’m moving into at the end of May, anymore because they took the listing down. Bastards!

Ok, everyone knows I’m moving but nobody knows where…until now.
I bought a condo in downtown raleigh. I can’t move in till May so I have to stay in an apartment till then but I’m totally psyched.
I’ll be a walk from Glenwood South. The view from my windows are of Fred Fletcher park and I’m just on top of everything cool in Raleigh. So, if you get drunk and you need a place to crash, you know who to call…
Here’s the listing: my condo
The coolest thing about it is that the real estate agent listing the place is George Huntley….Yes, that George Huntley.
Oh, I have to give a major shout out to my real estate agent Jason Graves for negotiating a great deal for me. Werd up, yo!

So, I’m out with a couple friends of mine the other night hanging at Sullivan’s and taking in the scene. We were having a good time but decided to go and try another spot. As we were leaving, one of my friend’s said that he wanted to go say hi to this girl he knew. Ok, so we sauntered over to the table and there were two attractive women in their late 20s/early 30s sitting at the table with three guys about the same age hovering around the table. These guys weren’t sitting and they were dressed up such that it seemed like they were trying too hard.
As we approached the table, the guys were chatting with the girls but when we got there they stopped and just looked around. No acknowledgement of our presence or even talking to the other girl who my friend didn’t know. It was like they were being too cool for school. It was one of the most bizarre experience I’ve come across with territorial marking from men. The weird thing is that as soon as they did that, it made me kind of stand back and almost do the same thing. I snapped out of it quick and went and introduce myself to the girl.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been out there and I just don’t get it…

Ugh, my move day is coming up and I don’t have a place yet. Nice…
So, I’m trying to pack everything up and that’s going ok but I still have more to do. My sister-in-law Gail is coming up from Huntersville to help this weekend.
Also, I’m having a yard sale and selling most of my lawn equipment. So, if you guys need/want anything gimme a holler.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking…what the hell is a Turks & Caicos? Well, it’s an island chain not too far from the Bahamas. Oh yeah, I just got back from there. It was a beautiful island. Dry and warm. Just what the doctor ordered.
I stayed at the Club Med hotel called Turkoise (get it?) . It was a lot of fun but I need a few days of down time from all the crazy partying I did. Wow….
Peace out,

Well, my house sold after being on the market for a week. Thanks to Jason B Graves my awesome real estate agent for making that happen. If you need to sell your house, go check him out.
Now, I just need to find me a new place in the matter of 3 weeks. Great…
