So, some of you know I like to play a little poker and I really like watching ESPNs World Series of Poker. Well, some creative guys put together a cute and funny version of World Series of Uno. Check it out!

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the total revenue of the federal government during fiscal year 2006 was $2.406 trillion. $1.043 attributed to individual income taxes. The rest coming from various means such as corporate tax, social insurance taxes, excise taxes, estate and gift, duties and misc stuff.

So, let’s eliminate individual income taxes! That would leave the government with almost $1.4 trillion to work with…do you think they really need more than that?

Wow, this story from the N&O really illustrates the complete lack of integrity of Mike Nifong (as if, that’s not obvious ). He willing withheld evidence that would exonerate these young men yet he chose to continue with the case. I know its about power but I just don’t see how someone could continue to do this.

I play a little poker here and there and sometimes you need to bluff but damn, when you’re beat and you know it you need to lay it down.

If their is a “consensus” that global warming is due to man-made CO2, why are we still funding the research?

ok, if you have the discovery channel you need to be watching Planet Earth. It’s informative, riveting and incredibly beautiful.

Ok, I just have to say that MT.net is a pretty cool blog and this post is a minor attempt to pay tribute.

Mark’s been in to blogging for a long time but he really seems to be hitting his stride. He posts frequently and seems to put a lot of time into his posts. Now, I don’t agree with a lot of his opinions (should that matter?) nor do I even like all his posts but he rocks! He does his thing and people read. Good for you, dude! Keep it up!
