Ok, today marks the first time I’ve ever called/contacted my local representative. I blogged before about US Rep Brad Miller (NC-D) voted against funding of online poker from US banks and financial institutions. So, its been brought up one more time in H.R. 6870. I called his office and told him that I want him to vote for the bill.

I love playing poker and I don’t understand why I can’t spend MY money on a beloved past time. It just doesn’t make sense.

Hopefully, he’ll see the light and agree…but I’m not holding my breath.

If he shoots the bill down, then he will NEVER get my vote!!!

Mr Miller, please do the right thing! Protect a distinctly American pasttime.
