Jeebus, are politicians and local police clueless or what? In Chicago, cops are now allowed to shoot at fleeing cars that aren’t used in an attack but who’s passengers are only suspected of committing a felony! Holy crap this could get bad….real bad. Can you say ‘collateral damage’?

Seems that there’s a few Democratic Senators who want to know what President Obama would be willing to pass. Instead, he’s leaving it up to them to figure things out. While he’s out there urging them to make something happen he hasn’t really given them much direction.

Now, I’m not confused because of this one line

“Instead of sending out his people and saying the president isn’t ruling anything out, members would like a little bit of clarity on what he would support – especially on how to pay for his health reform bill”

To me, that’s pure political genius. What’s really going on is that he knows that a big tax increase would have to happen across the board and since he made a campaign promise against that this is an easy way for him to dodge that promise. He can just say that this reform is too important not to go through and that Congress suggested the increase, not him.

This is very, very shrewd. I hope this fails…

I think this is the coolest website ever!

So, at lunch today I went down to the Sheriff’s office downtown and applied for 5 gun permits. Yeah, I know why do I need five. Well, you just never know and you can use them for other guns besides handguns so you don’t have to wait on a federal check or what not.

Anyway, the process was pretty easy so if you have ever thought about it just head downtown and take the 5 minutes to apply. This time next week I should have the permits

I know people are just trying to capitalize on the Obama worshippers but serious a ChiaObama? I also checked Amazon for some legitimacy and this seems totally straight up.
